Job Summary
Conduct physical assessments, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to provide effective surgical specialty care. Perform preventive health screenings and educate patients on treatment and follow-up plans. Maintain accurate patient records and execute medical procedures in accordance with departmental guidelines. Identify ways to improve patient care by assessing and evaluating clinical and system issues. Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies, valid NC license, and board certification within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree Nursing
- Master Degree Physician Assistant studies
- Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license
- NC PA license
- Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for PA's OR the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for NP's OR the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) or The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP) Certification
- IVC Certified
