Job Summary
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant nocturnist role at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC. Exempt, full-time (FTE 1, 40 hours/week) with a 7 on, 7 off schedule and a $10k signing bonus. Responsibilities include physical assessments, reviewing medical histories, interpreting diagnostic tests, preventive health screenings, patient and family education, maintaining patient records, performing inpatient specialty procedures per guidelines, identifying opportunities to improve inpatient specialty care, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires Master's degree (Nursing or PA studies) with licensure as NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP or NC PA, board certification within 1 year of hire, and related certifications (BLS, NRP for BH providers). Open to new graduates; preferred 3+ years. Located in Greensboro, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree Nursing or Master Degree Physician Assistant studies
- Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license
- Board Certified within 1 year of hire by NCCPA, ANCC, NCCB, AMCB, AANP or PNCB
- BLS (CPR)
- NRP Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers
- IVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavioral Health Advance Practice Provider
- Education: Master Degree required as stated
- Experience: Open to new graduates; preferred 3+ years (but open to new grads)
