Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment for patients with breathing disorders in an ICU environment. Manage ICU ventilators, including PB 980 systems, and provide post-operative ventilator care. Perform bedside bronchoscopy and intubation training as offered by the facility. Work 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM–6:00 PM) with a 36-hour weekly guarantee, though night rotations may occur. Maintain a current state license and RRT credential. Participate in ongoing skill development and function as a reliable, team-oriented clinician. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 available.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
- Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
- BLS certification
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in ICU ventilator management and post-operative ventilator care
- Experience with PB 980 ventilators
- Comfortable and confident working in an ICU environment
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development, including bedside bronchoscopy and intubation training as offered by the facility
- Strong ventilator management skills
- Experience or willingness to train in intubation, arterial line placement, and bedside bronchoscopy
- Ability to function intentionally, reliably, and as a team-oriented clinician
