Job Summary
Operate Positron Emission Tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images and measure radioactive isotope concentrations for physician use in diagnosing and treating patient conditions. Work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with four 10-hour shifts, with no weekend coverage required. Maintain proficiency in PET/Nuclear Medicine operations and safe handling of radioactive materials while meeting agency or facility requirements. This role is available at an outpatient facility in Reston, VA, where the team supports the quality of care for patients and students nationwide through direct hire positions and competitive benefits including a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Registration with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent
- BLS certification
- Ability to meet agency or facility requirements for operation of PET/CT equipment and safe handling of radioactive materials
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of PET/Nuclear Medicine experience
- PET certification
- Licensed in the state of Virginia
