Job Summary
1099 Process Server for Proof Technology's independent network. Manage your own schedule and service area to deliver legal documents; sign up via Proof website or mobile app, verify identity, and complete a quick background check. You will work as an independent contractor, using a mobile app to accept jobs, track earnings, and communicate with clients and Proof representatives. Requires license/certification as a process server if required by state/county law, and a valid driver’s license; prior process-serving or related experience preferred. E-Verify participation noted. Location: Lake Providence, LA area.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: You must be a Licensed, Registered, or Certified Process Server if your state or county laws require it
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Technical Skills: Proficient with iPhone/iPad or Android devices and capable of using a mobile app
- Document Handling: Ability to scan and print documents. Free printing services are available via FedEx
- Experience: Prior experience in process serving or a related field (law enforcement, private investigations, etc.)
- National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS) membership is preferred
