Job Summary
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within long-term care facilities, collaborating with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care. Conduct administrative duties totaling four hours monthly per facility, including on-site presence once weekly for rounding on acute and long-term care patients. Participate in QAPI and leadership meetings while remaining available for consultation. This role supports Access Medical Clinics in maintaining regulatory compliance with CMS and LTC standards across the network.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with active state medical license
- Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine
- Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care
- Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements
