Job Summary
Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population while documenting sessions in the TimelyCare electronic health record. Develop treatment plans and progress notes following each session, utilizing evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, and SFBT to build rapport and progress student care. Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to support care continuation and adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics. Maintain composure during high-stress scenarios and respond with empathy and professionalism to motivated clients in higher education settings. This remote contract role offers flexible hours Monday through Sunday, with 45-50 minute sessions plus time for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Active State License in ME
- Valid U.S. work authorization
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
- Additional state licensures
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/deescalation and safety/treatment planning
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
