Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and payroll scheduling. Lead and develop a team of associates through hiring, coaching, and performance management while ensuring strict adherence to brand standards and safety protocols. Manage customer experiences by resolving issues and driving sales targets across in-store and omni-channel fulfillment models. Maintain cash control, enforce loss prevention measures, and ensure compliance with all company policies and HAZMAT training. Support the Store Manager in all areas and execute business plans to meet financial objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must 18 years of age or older
- Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
- Can effectively communicate with team and management
- Must be able to effectively respond to new circumstances and ambiguous situations
- Must be able to build competent, diverse teams by hiring, developing, motivating and coaching talent
- Must be able to express information in a candid, straight forward way
- Must be able to develop strong partnerships and engage with all associates
- Must be able to understand and work to meet the needs of external and internal customers
- Must be effective at driving and delivering plans
- Must demonstrate vision and broad perspective to drive business performance
- Must be able to execute and adapt plans
- Must be able to analyze information and objectively evaluate alternatives to make sound decisions
- May be required to work in other stores from time to time
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
- Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
