Job Summary
The Certified Color Consultant is responsible for maximizing sales through customer engagement in the hair color category, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and fostering customer retention and loyalty. The position involves providing color consultations, assisting with product selection, and supporting store operations including sales transactions and daily paperwork. This role requires communication skills, a commitment to continuous learning, collaboration with team members, and adherence to safety and loss prevention policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum age of 18. Retail sales experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ year retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear, concise manner
- Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business
- Ability to execute product knowledge from training to support with customer service
- Ability to explain product labels
- Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager
- Comprehensive knowledge of iPad and navigation of the internet and social media platforms
- Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public
