Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving store performance, leading and developing team members, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. Key duties include supervising daily activities of store associates, engaging in recruitment efforts, managing store operations efficiently, and analyzing store performance to meet KPIs and sales targets. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. A high school diploma and retail management experience are required, with a cosmetology license being a desirable qualification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
- Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
- Can effectively communicate with team and management
- Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
