Job Summary
Greet and serve customers courteously while processing deposits, cashing checks, and selling cashier's checks. Accept and process night and mail deposits, maintain branch cash vaults, and prepare daily settlement reports. Provide technical guidance on bank technology and refer complex inquiries to relationship advisors. Coordinate departmental tasks, ensure accurate cash drawer balancing, and compile regulatory reports. Maintain supply inventory and operate various office machines and currency equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business or accounting curriculum
- Successful completion of First United Bank & Trust CSR Training Program
- Appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification
- Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills
- Proficient analytical and mathematics skills
- Proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills
- Proficient eye-hand coordination
- Ability to operate various office machines
- Technical supervisory skills sufficient to provide guidance and training to other Customer Service Representatives
- Ability to lift approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin
- Visual and auditory skills
- Minimum of two (2) years' customer service experience in related positions
