Job Summary
Lead team members, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold safety standards during shifts when the General Manager is absent. Cultivate a positive workplace culture through coaching, assist in hiring and retention, and deliver a safe, clean, 5-star experience for customers and staff. Drive revenue growth by coaching the team, optimizing interactions, and using KPI tools to support membership retention. Troubleshoot equipment issues, manage hourly scheduling, and approve payroll hours while enforcing company policies. Requires flexibility to work 45–50 hours per week. Reports directly to the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of key holder or assistant management experience in retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced environment
- Experience supervising teams of 8–12 employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Strong leadership and sales acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, humidity)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work 45–50 hours per week
