Job Summary
Mental Health Technician at Perimeter Behavioral Health in Waynesville, MO, working full-time on 12-hour day shifts. Provide compassionate, personalized care to support recovery for adolescents in a residential behavioral health setting. Activities include assessing patient behavior, documenting observations, modeling life skills for independent living, escorting patients, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and applying de-escalation and physical interventions when needed (training provided). Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, ability to rotate shifts, and physical capacity to assist with patient interventions. Experience in healthcare, behavioral, or social services is preferred; education or work experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work is a plus. Required Qualifications
