Job Summary
Drive local intermodal containers within a 150-mile radius using slip-seat operation on clean daycabs, handling a mix of live loads, preloads, and drop-and-hook cycles. Manage occasional 30 to 60-minute ramp waits for container flips while maintaining a solid 55 to 70-hour weekly schedule averaging 10–12 hours per shift. Operate exclusively during night shifts from Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, with weekend work standard and holiday dispatch optional. Maintain a valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard.
