Job Summary
Teach 24 credits annually, develop syllabi and materials, and engage in academic advising for assigned doctoral advisees. Supervise doctoral dissertations and serve on dissertation committees while participating in program assessment, curriculum review, and admissions processes. Hold active membership in departmental and campus-wide governance committees and pursue scholarly activities. This role supports the APA-Accredited Florida School of Professional Psychology PsyD program, which trains health-service psychologists to practice across all 50 states and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- PhD/PsyD from an APA-Accredited program
- License-eligibility in Florida
- Passion for teaching
- Experience in graduate clinical education and training
- Strong ability to mentor graduate students, particularly non-traditional students
- Adherence to the highest level of professional conduct and ethical standards
- Graduate and post-graduate experience working with diverse client populations
- Demonstrated participation in scholarly and/or professional activities
- Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
Desired Qualifications
- Professional experience in APA-Accredited practitioner-scholar programs
