Job Summary
Commodity Management Consultant 1 in Taipei (Hybrid) leads and negotiates global, high-impact commodity strategies, develops commodity plans, guides supplier negotiations, and provides strategic sourcing support across global markets. The role requires deep knowledge of a broad range of commodities, strong negotiation and communication skills, experience in cost analysis and supplier performance management, and the ability to mentor and develop team members. Responsibilities include establishing commodity strategies, leading negotiations, advising on world-wide sourcing processes, and interfacing with senior management and customers to align on objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Commerce or Engineering), or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight plus years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of Celestica’s global supply chain and office systems/analytical tools
- Ability to lead complex negotiations and communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
- Duties include global negotiations of multiple commodities, supplier relationship development, cost analysis, and strategic sourcing guidance
