Job Summary
Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance, record vital signs, collect health information, relay information between staff and physicians, administer oral medications and injections, test blood sugar levels, manage urinary catheter insertion and care, and monitor for changes in patients. Maintain proper charting, documentation, and confidentiality of clinical records while acting as a role model for ancillary personnel. Ask questions for clarification by the Registered Nurse when in doubt. Requires current LPN/RN license in the state with at least one year of experience in a Long Term Care Setting preferred.
