Job Summary
Pick items from designated warehouse areas using pick lists, order sheets, or digital systems while verifying part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions. Operate warehouse equipment or pallet jacks to move items, pack orders securely with appropriate materials, and ensure all items are properly labeled and match order details. Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outgoing shipments, conduct regular inventory counts to update records, and assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness by disposing of packaging materials and organizing products for easy accessibility. Adhere to all safety protocols and report any shortages or damages to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects, packages, and materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
- Ability to push or pull heavy carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, or platforms safely and confidently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Basic computer skills to input and retrieve data from inventory systems
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and ability to operate warehouse equipment

- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role
