1:1 EC Teacher Assistant

Assist in creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment and support the assigned teacher by participating in daily and long-range lesson planning, conducting quality learning experiences with small groups or individuals, preparing and duplicating instructional materials, maintaining portfolios and records, administering assessments, and providing help with classroom operations and student needs. Role emphasizes collaboration, use of diverse instructional methods, technology integration, and adherence to NC Essential Standards within the Common Core Curriculum. Ten-month term with full benefits; classified salary NC 05. Reports to the Assigned Teacher and School Administration.
