1:1 Counselor

Maintain sight and sound supervision of students while modeling appropriate behavior, punctuality, and conflict resolution. Assist teachers with academics and IEP implementation, develop adult/child relationships to facilitate social and life skills, and implement behavior management systems and individual plans. Administer medications per procedures, transport students to community activities, and assist with personal care and hygiene. Use approved techniques during crises, maintain required documentation including incident reports and logs, and participate in scheduled staff meetings and professional development trainings. Submit recommendations for continuous quality improvement and perform other duties as assigned.
