Job Summary
Home-Based Direct Support Professional ( DSP ) providing one-on-one support in clients' homes and communities in the Lehigh Valley region. Responsibilities include supporting behavioral, social, and vocational skill development; assisting with recreational and community activities; following treatment plans and documenting progress; providing companionship and respite care; submitting documentation and payroll on time; participating in ongoing training; assisting with personal care needs; working independently in home and community settings. Requirements include genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD, valid driver's license with active car insurance, ability to pass background checks, 18+ years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift or transfer as needed. Compensation is $20.00-$25.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus; schedule offers various hours with morning/afternoon/evening shifts; benefits available based on hours worked; prior caregiving experience preferred but not required (training provided).
