Job Summary
Provide high quality instruction and performance support to at-risk students in reading/language arts, math and other core content areas; utilize identified scientific, research-based interventions focused on group and individual student needs; participate in universal screening, progress monitoring, diagnostic assessment, and analysis of the data to identify students in need of tiered intervention, and benchmarking; maintain data-based documentation of universal screening, tiered intervention, progress monitoring, diagnostic assessment, and benchmarking; design individualized learning plans and progress-monitor student achievement; maintain accurate and complete reports and documentation completed and submitted in a timely manner as required; collaborate to align interventions with Tier 1 instruction and ensure consistency in mathematical/ELA language, models, and approved curriculum; work with teachers on the implementation of small group instruction in Reading/Math; assist classroom teachers in correctly grouping students for reading and small group instruction; push in classrooms and work with small groups of students; work with teachers in analyzing student data and monitoring student progress; understands and interprets test data in order to improve learning; work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff and parents to share knowledge; maintain the confidentiality of school and student records; attend all meetings and professional development activities as assigned; 200-day employment term; itinerant role.
Required Qualifications
- Elementary Education Certification
- Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
