Job Summary
Assess the learning, social, and emotional needs of referred students experiencing difficulty in school and develop interventions to facilitate academic success and positive school functioning. Collaborate cooperatively with administrators, supervisors, staff, parents, and students to support positive school functioning. Demonstrate proficiency in technology for individual communication, research, and presentation to enhance information sharing for student groups and staff. Maintain effective interpersonal skills to interface diplomatically with teachers, administrators, outside professional contacts, and support staff. This role requires a Master's degree with valid PA certification, with a license preferred. The position is available for the 2026-2027 school year at the secondary level.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- valid PA certification
- Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication and research
- Proficiency in presentation of technology to enhance small and large student group or staff information and demonstration sessions
- effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with other teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff and outside professional contacts
- College Verification of Eligibility Letter which states that you have successfully completed the program and are eligible for certification
