Job Summary
Instruct Grade 1 students daily in general subjects including ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies while planning programs that meet individual student needs. Establish clear objectives, utilize varied instructional techniques, and maintain an environment conducive to learning and appropriate student maturity. Prepare for assigned classes, document evidence of preparation, and assess student accomplishments regularly to provide progress reports. Communicate with parents regarding pupil progress, assist administration in implementing policies, and supervise teacher aides or volunteers. Maintain accurate records, administer standardized tests, and participate in curriculum development and faculty committees as required.
