Job Summary
Instruct grade 7 & 8 students in Academic Support during assigned class time while planning programs that meet individual student needs. Create conducive learning environments, establish clear objectives, and employ varied instructional techniques consistent with student capabilities. Assess student accomplishments regularly, maintain accurate records, and communicate progress to parents through conferences. Supervise teacher aides and volunteers, participate in curriculum development, and attend staff meetings as required. Make provision for availability to students and parents outside the instructional day when requested.
