Job Summary
Color & Curl Concierge/Colour & Curl Specialist serves as the expert for Color & Curl/Texture, providing color and curl-related advice and education to customers and professional clients, driving sales and brand awareness. Responsibilities include determining customer color and care needs, offering professional recommendations, communicating across teams, resolving customer questions, maintaining merchandising and signage to align with brand guidelines, staying informed on trends and market changes, and supporting banking/cash handling when needed. The role emphasizes color and curl expertise, education through guided learning and certification, and potential growth opportunities, with licensing preferred and the ability to travel for shows and meetings. Must demonstrate strong sales, communication, and organizational skills, and adhere to company ethics and culture values.
Required Qualifications
- One year retail or other sales-focused experience
- Licensed cosmetologist highly preferred in US and Canada
- Reliable transportation to effectively service designated store and market
- Ability to travel to shows and/or sales meetings a minimum of 3 times a year
- Strong business acumen and ability to read, interpret, and action on pertinent sales reporting
- Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control systems and visual merchandising is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS applications
- Comprehensive knowledge of computers, ipads, mobile devices and social media platforms
- Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire to remain in position
