Job Summary
Lead HR support for a single site with up to 400 employees or assist senior HR leaders in multi-site countries. Manage semi-skilled and entry-level staff across diverse functions, establish annual plans, and enforce policies while executing budgets and developing schedules. Direct immediate supervision by assigning tasks, reviewing performance, and making hiring and firing decisions. Conduct internal investigations of misconduct, represent the site in legal charges, and ensure consistent application of recruiting and retention programs. Provide employee relations consultation, coach managers on performance development, and implement organizational change interventions. Develop training programs, assess talent needs, and roll out corporate HR initiatives like compensation and benefits. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining confidentiality in sensitive information handling.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of government regulations
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and experience in Labor Relations
- Experience with HRIS system
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers
- Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner
- Ability to effectively organize and motivate team members with a diverse group of skill sets
- Occasional travel is required
