07 - Inventory Analyst

Job Summary
Track inventory issues and coordinate the physical flow and system status of materials for the business unit. Execute assigned inventory control tasks to support the overall material plan and achieve target levels. Perform routine audits to verify data accuracy within the ERP/MRP system and organize data used by the senior team to balance inventory results with financial records. Monitor surplus inventory by maintaining accurate system records and physical segregation, then assist in implementing action plans to reduce non-working stock. Produce weekly reports to forecast and track inventory metrics while resolving discrepancies with cross-functional teams. This role requires a split between office/desk work and time spent in the warehouse and on the production floor to perform audits and investigate physical discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of direct experience in an Inventory Control, Materials Analyst, or cycle counting role
- Foundational knowledge of material flow and inventory management in a high-tech or electronics assembly environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency in working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for transaction processing and data lookups
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel for data organization and basic analysis
- Solid understanding of cycle counting methodologies, inventory reconciliation processes, and basic warehouse management principles
- High attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills for resolving discrepancies with cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
- Willingness to work flexible hours occasionally to support large-scale inventories or urgent investigation needs
