Job Summary
Teaching CS 110 (Programming and Problem Solving) as a sessional instructor in S01/S02 Fall 2026 at the Regina campus, including delivering course content, facilitating class discussions, assigning grades, preparing outlines and final exams, providing academic counselling, invigilating and grading mid-terms/finals, supporting students with homework, consulting with Department Heads, and performing related duties per Collective Agreement. Requires a Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of post-secondary teaching experience; strong written/verbal communication; cross-cultural experience; and assets in remedial language teaching and First Nations language familiarity. On-site delivery with multiple delivery formats (On-Site, Hybrid, Hyflex, Remote options described) at Regina, SK, Canada under SASM Collective Bargaining unit.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
