Job Summary
Teaching CS 100 S01/S02 Fall 2026 as a Sessional Instructor; manage class discussions and assign grades to cohorts; prepare course outlines and final exams; provide academic counselling; invigilate, grade, and submit mid-term and final exams and papers; support students with homework; consult with Department Heads on academic matters; duties per Collective Agreement as a unionized position; On-Site delivery with multiple delivery formats (On-Site, Hyflex, Remote variants) and campus posting in Regina, SK; hourly pay structure under SASM unit; required qualification includes a Master’s Degree with significant teaching experience in a post-secondary environment; assets include remedial language teaching and cross-cultural/First Nations language experience; application via online portal with deadline June 25, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets.
