Job Summary
Teaching INDG 201 across multiple delivery modes (on-site, hybrid, and remote) for Fall 2026, including preparing course outlines and final exams, facilitating class discussions, grading assigned cohorts, and providing academic counselling. Responsibilities include invigilation, grading mid-terms/final exams, supporting students with homework, consulting with Department Heads on academic matters, and performing related duties per Collective Agreement. Delivery methods include on-site, HyFlex, HyFlex remote, video-conference, and other delivery modes as indicated (hybrid/remote options available). Applicants must hold a Master’s degree with substantial post-secondary teaching experience and possess strong communication skills; experience with cross-cultural environments and First Nations language skills are assets. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
