Job Summary
Teaching Indigenous Studies INDG 100 S50 Fall 2026 at Saskatoon Campus (On-Site). Responsibilities include delivering course content within academic guidelines; facilitating class discussions and assigning grades; preparing course outlines and final exams; providing academic counselling; invigilating, grading, and submitting mid-term and final exams and papers; supporting students with homework and exam preparation; consulting with Department Heads on academic or student matters; and other duties per Collective Agreement. Candidates should hold a Master’s degree with at least 5 years of post-secondary teaching experience, strong communication skills, and cross-cultural experience; experience with remedial language teaching and ability to speak a First Nations language are assets. The position is hourly with on-site delivery and Saskatoon, SK, Canada locations.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
