Job Summary
Teaching INDG 100 across sections S01/S10 in Fall 2026, including facilitating class discussions, preparing course outlines and exams, providing academic counselling, invigilating and grading exams, and supporting students with homework and exam preparation; consult with Department Heads on academic or student-related matters; duties aligned with the Collective Agreement for a unionized sessional instructor role.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
