Job Summary
Teach INA 290AC across S01/S02 Fall 2026; manage class discussions and assign grades; prepare course outlines and final exams; provide academic counselling to students; invigilate, grade and submit mid-term and final exams and papers; provide support to students working on homework assignments or preparing for mid-terms/finals; consult with Department Heads on academic or student-related matters; perform other duties per Collective Agreement; delivery methods include on-site, HyFlex, hybrid options with synchronous in-person lectures; course titles include Introduction to Indigenous Ceramics; locations include Regina, Saskatchewan with on-site delivery; requires Master’s Degree and post-secondary teaching experience; unionized SASM unit; pay is hourly with session stipends; remote option currently in-person for this posting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
