Job Summary
In EPSY 225 S10 for Fall 2026, teach the course content within university guidelines, monitor and facilitate class discussions, assign grades to the assigned cohort, prepare course outlines and final exams, provide academic counselling to students, invigilate and grade mid-terms and finals, assist students with homework and exam preparation, consult with Department Heads on academic matters, and fulfill other duties per Collective Agreement as a SASM unionized position. Delivery options include On-Site, Hybrid, Hyflex, Remote Learning, and other delivery formats as described (synchronous in-person and remote modalities).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
