Job Summary
Teach EPSY 225 S01 Fall 2026: deliver course content within university guidelines, monitor and facilitate discussion forums, assign and manage grades, prepare outlines and final exams, provide academic counselling, invigilate and grade exams and papers, support students with assignments, and consult with Department Heads on academic matters; candidates should have a Master’s degree with extensive post-secondary teaching experience, strong communication skills, and cross-cultural awareness; this is a unionized SASM Collective Agreement position and course delivery may occur on-site with various delivery methods (on-site, Hyflex, remote options described as appropriate)
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
