Job Summary
Teach the course content within university academic guidelines; monitor and facilitate class discussion forums and assign grades; prepare course outlines and final exams; provide academic counselling to students; invigilate, grade and submit mid-term and final exams and papers; provide support to students with homework and exam preparation; consult with Department Heads on academic or student matters; deliver on-site with options described as Hyflex/Hybrid/Remote delivery as outlined; collaborate within the SASM Collective Bargaining Unit framework and deliver the course in designated formats (Onsite/Hybrid/Remote) for EPE 215 S10 Fall 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
