Job Summary
Teach the course content for the EIND 305 S02 lab, including preparing outlines and exams, monitoring class discussions, grading and submitting assessments, and providing academic counselling to students. Deliver on-site instruction with options for hybrid/Hyflex formats, invigilate and grade exams, assist students with homework, and consult with Department Heads on student-related matters, all in alignment with the Collective Agreement. Strong communication skills and cross-cultural experience are valued; experience with Indigenous Education and First Nations language skills are assets.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
