Job Summary
Teach LING 210 across multiple sections delivered via remote/hybrid/in-person formats; responsibilities include delivering course content within university guidelines, facilitating class discussions, assigning grades, preparing outlines and exams, providing academic counselling, invigilating and grading exams, supporting students with assignments, consulting with Department Heads on academic matters, and performing related duties under the Collective Agreement; qualifications include a Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of post-secondary teaching experience, strong communication skills, and cross-cultural competency. Remote/hybrid delivery options are available (Zoom-based remote sections and on-site/hybrid delivery formats) across multiple campuses in Regina, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
