Job Summary
Teach Indigenous Language Concepts of Health across remote delivery sections (Zoom) while preparing course outlines and final exams, invigilating exams, providing academic counselling to students, monitoring class discussions, and coordinating with Department Heads on academic matters in a post-secondary setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with at least 5 years work experience
- Relevant experience in teaching students in a post-secondary environment
- Experience with remedial language teaching skills would be considered an asset
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be a self-motivator who can work to achieve results while ensuring attention to detail and comply with academic reporting requirements
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and the ability to speak a First Nations language are considered assets
