Job Summary
Coordinate cycle counters across business areas, monitor priorities, and present findings to senior management. Identify process issues, assist with variance analysis, and develop process changes to improve inventory management. Provide training and mentoring to NCM Specialists and site employees on data analysis and the NCM process. Facilitate monthly team updates and conduct audits on physical processes and adherence to protocols. Entry-level role with functional and organizational training under close supervision. Requires basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and materials requirements planning. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques and manufacturing control systems
- Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices
- Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis, interpret data, and resolve issues
- Basic math skills
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers
- Ability to provide leadership to a group of employees
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
- Zero to two years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
