Job Summary
Check employee badges for entry, operate truck gates for entry and exit, meet and greet visitors, and perform hourly security checks. Monitor CCTV while stopping, questioning, and detaining individuals as needed. Respond to emergencies with unplanned strenuous physical activity, climb stairs, and use handcuffs when required. Work extended hours alone in adverse weather, adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE. Maintain mental alertness and emotional stability to function effectively during normal or emergency operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must Meet the State of Arkansas requirements for an unarmed private security officer
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background checks, including criminal history check, employment, and education verification, and meet requirements for access to sensitive information
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Work extended hours
- Work alone
- Work and perform under stress
- Work in adverse weather
- Stop, question, and detain individuals
- Respond to emergencies with unplanned strenuous physical activity
- Climb stairs in an emergency
- Sit or stand alone for at least two hours
- Be able to bend, push, pull and lift 25 pounds for your entire shift
- Use handcuffs
- Ability to function in emergencies and unusual environments
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
- Mental alertness and emotional stability
- Acuity of senses; ability of expression to allow rapid, accurate communication by spoken, written, audible, visible, or tactile signals
- The use of corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses shall not interfere with an individual's ability to effectively perform assigned security duties during normal or emergency operations
- No use of medications that while the individual is working, that would incapacitate, alter mental status, judgment or decrease physical or mental response times
- Individuals with medical conditions which may impact the ability to perform the essential functions of the job shall provide medical evidence that the condition is controlled with proper medication and/or treatment and/or reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, squat and lift 25 pounds for the entire shift
