Job Summary
Receive orders for the Central Alberta Ready Mix Market and enter them into the Dispatch Scheduling Program. Schedule RMC drivers based on requirements, ticket trucks in-line with the daily schedule, and support the Dispatch Supervisor through daily operations. Collaborate with batch plant operators to support efficient operations and assist staff in scheduling repairs on ready mix plants. Troubleshoot customer concerns and resolve conflicts while maintaining a safety-focused mindset with strong hazard identification. This role operates primarily in the Central Dispatch Office in Red Deer, AB, requiring flexibility for extended hours during peak seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Exposure to fast paced Ready Mix Operations
- Experience working specifically with Concrete Batching/Scheduling
- Strong multitasking skillset
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and conflict resolution
- Customer focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well alone as well as a strong team player
- Safety focused mindset with strong emphasis on Hazard Identification
- Must successfully complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check
