Job Summary
As a Front End Associate, you will provide exceptional service at checkout, greet guests warmly, operate the cash register, and ensure accurate transaction processing. Duties include scanning items, managing cash and credit payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining a clean workspace. You should possess strong customer service skills, demonstrate teamwork and attention to detail, and be comfortable handling weights of up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred along with cash handling experience, although training is available for willing learners. TABC certification will be required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
- Ability to communicate with and understand coworkers and guests
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to calculate discounts and percentages
- Must be over the age of 21
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit (and sometimes a valid Food Handlers Permit)
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual skills
- Cashiering experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday
- Cannot work outside scheduled time without District Manager approval
