Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will hire, develop, and lead store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences and overseeing store operations. You will support the Store Manager and be responsible for achieving key performance indicators and financial targets through effective communication and action planning. Your duties will include supervising daily goals for associates, maintaining brand standards, engaging and training your team, managing inventory and payroll, ensuring a safe environment for associates and customers, and resolving customer issues. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership and communication skills, 3+ years in retail sales or customer service, and prior management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred
- At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred
- Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives
- Can effectively communicate with team and management
- Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
