Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality. Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements while maintaining accurate records using inventory management systems. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to organize storage, operate material handling equipment safely, and perform routine inventory counts to resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all activities. This role supports the manufacturing supply chain by managing the flow of goods within the facility, requiring close coordination with logistics providers and staff to facilitate smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
- Experience with barcode scanning.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
