03 - Production Technical Operator 3

Production Technical Operator 3 performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, and inspection/repair of products. Responsibilities include machine and line setups, feeder repairs, and first-line preventative maintenance, with hands-on involvement in SMT/board assembly, test equipment operation, quality awareness, and process improvement. The role requires ability to set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering tools, identify and address issues in the assembly process, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers while leading a team to achieve high-quality production under tight deadlines. Proficiency in related software (Word, Excel, Documentation control systems) and familiarity with in-circuit/functional test fixturing are desired, along with advanced manufacturing systems knowledge. Education: High school diploma with additional courses or equivalent experience; 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience is typical.
