Job Summary
Receives, counts, and stocks raw materials while verifying items against bills of materials and purchase orders. Performs periodic inventory audits, completes detailed transactions in systems, and compiles data reports. Delivers materials to production and shipping areas, prepares finished goods for shipment, and coordinates pick-ups with freight carriers. Visually inspects deliveries for damage, resolves paperwork issues with purchasing, and posts shipping charges. Works in a manufacturing environment handling lightweight to heavy materials up to 20 pounds. Requires three to five years of relevant experience and knowledge of logistics systems and electronics packaging.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years relevant experience
- Knowledge of logistics systems
- Knowledge of SMT materials
- Knowledge of electronics packaging
- Knowledge of electronics terms
- Knowledge of personal computers
- Ability to learn and use applications specific to this area
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and assimilate job documentation
- Ability to identify and configure specific materials for each work order
- Ability to maintain detailed, accurate and organized records
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers
- Specific certifications and/or licenses as required
- Ability to lift objects over 20 pounds
- Ability to perform continuous light physical effort including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space, climbing, using equipment, and handling lightweight materials
- Ability to perform periodic heavy manual effort including lifting, straining, and pulling
