Job Summary
Provide extraordinary guest service at the register and on the sales floor; operate cash register and ensure accurate pricing and barcode scanning; greet guests, suggest add-ons, redeem coupons, and process payments including cash, cards, and gift cards; maintain a clean, organized checkout area; assist with carry-outs and inventory as needed; comply with safety and identification requirements (ID checks) and health/safety regulations; require ability to stand most shifts and lift up to 50 pounds, with a preference for a high school diploma or GED and cashiering experience; obtain required permits (TABC, Food Handlers where applicable); teamwork, reliability, and a customer-first attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- cashier experience preferred
- valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- valid Food Handlers Permit (where applicable)
- read, comprehend, and write simple instructions; bilingual a plus
- ability to handle cash and operate POS systems
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
