Job Summary
Maintain a clean and professional appearance for numerous buildings by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, and polishing furniture and fixtures. Operate machinery to clean factory areas and windows, mixing detergents according to specifications. Service restrooms, locker rooms, and kitchenettes while gathering and emptying trash, ensuring proper separation of recyclables. Requisition supplies and notify management of repairs or situations needing attention. Set up or remove decorations and furniture for events such as banquets. Perform duties requiring the ability to lift 25 lbs, stand for up to 8 hours, and operate a walk-behind scrubber. Must pass a drug test and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass a drug test
- Must pass a background check
- Must be a minimum of 16 years old
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to bend over a trash bin to remove up to 25lbs
- Must be able to lift 25lbs during the entire shift
- Capable of standing and walking up to 8 hours
- Capable of bending and squatting up to 8 hours
- Capable of pushing manual brooms and mops
- Capable of pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, twisting up to 8 hours
- Able to operate a Walk Behind Scrubber that involves strong physical abilities in the back, shoulder, arms, hip and neck
Desired Qualifications
- Prior cleaning experience preferred but will train
